- EAD is a protocol converter which transmits the Serial Data sent by
Equipment as TCP packets to the LAN / Network and converts back the
TCP/IP data received from the LAN / Network as Serial data to the equipment.
EAD also supports UDP Protocol for Broadcast application. - EAD - 01 is a low cost, high performance, Serial to Ethernet 10 / 100 Mbps
connectivity system using the TCP / IP protocol, and is based on ARM Cortex
M4 High speed 32 - bit Microprocessor. EAD - 01 has built-in web server for
configuration through Web browser and a factory default switch to load the
default configuration setting. - The Serial Network Selector comes with two way switch selection for
Rs232(in) data to be sent through LAN or RS 232(out).
