•The CONV-485M4 converts the RS 232 Serial Port signals to RS 485 signals for long
distance driving / interfacing devices supporting RS485 ports. Similarly, CONV-422M4
converts RS 232 Serial Port signals to RS 422 signals.
• CONV-485M4 & CONV-422M4 are available as external standalone units enclosed in
plastic casing, which takes power from the supplied power adaptor.
• The Converter is populated with Surface Mount components for increased reliability &
portability. Additionally, it offers consistent Isolation to Data signals while also
protecting the Serial Port from high voltage.
